Two people….two years….one couple….one everlasting love.

I celebrated my two year anniversary with my love, Estevo (his blog name), this month. He surprised me – well he actually spilled the beans and told me ahead of time because apparently he can’t keep secrets, including my birthday and Christmas presents – with a trip to the Grand Canyon on the Grand Canyon Railway.

It was cold…very cold…but still very sweet and romantic. We drove up to Williams, AZ, to the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel where we stayed for two nights. The drive up was beautiful, winding through the Arizona desert terrain and through the mountains. We stopped at Jerome, which is a small town on the top of a hill in northern Arizona. It’s an arts and crafts town, with hidden gems and neighborhood parlors. Estevo spent a lot of time in Jerome growing up with his mother…we found an old hotel and restaurant they used to stay at. It was the first time in a long time he’d been there.

I found a Christmas present for my mom at this cute Christmas shop that sells Christmas stuff all year…hope she likes it =)

After roaming the streets for awhile we hopped back in the car and drove to Williams. We ate dinner and just hung out the first night. It was very relaxing actually, just to spend time with Estevo, not worry about work or checking my email.

The second day we took a ride on the railway…it was so much fun! Our tour person told us about the train, the scenery we passed and shared some funny cow jokes…because we passed a lot of cows as you’ll see below! Haha.

Once we arrived, we hiked around the rim and were in awe of the Grand Canyon’s beauty. How awe inspiring. It was beautiful…a beautiful way to celebrate our anniversary.

My love…my Estevo…thank you so much for the past two years. You continually inspire me to be a better person and to strive for more. You are always supportive in anything I do and are always there for me…those are just a few reasons I love you. Those reasons, and many more, are why I’m so happy to spend the rest of my life with you. You will always be….my Estevo.

I just wanted to share some of my fine art with everyone. This is an old Studebaker that I found in a junk yard…yes I know I was snooping in a junkyard….that I thought looked interesting. Occasionally I have art shows, which I will share with you when I do! Thanks for looking =)

I went to the Desert Botanical Gardens a few months ago when things were in bloom and it wasn’t so hot out! I haven’t even looked at them because I’ve been so busy. I finally did this weekend, so here are some pics I wanted to share with you!
