Backtracking for a moment, I met Lyzette and George at last year’s Wedding Fair event in McAllen, TX. I will be there again this August, for all you Rio Grande Valley brides out there!

Lyzette had this great idea, before we had the session, to include large balloons in the her shoot. When the balloon man finally came, we had some fun! We found this awesome turquoise wall next to this restaurant! I love it when you just stumble on things while you are shooting. It makes things that more spontaneous and fun!

After hanging out in Zilker Park, we headed out to downtown Austin for some even more fun locations! We first headed to Big Top Candy Shop for some sweet photos…

Isn’t your mouth just watering….mmmmm taffy…..

Then we headed out to another awesome location, but first we got some amazing gold frames that Lyzette borrowed from her friend. Aren’t they so cool?

Then probably my favorite location of the shoot, Hey Cupcake! They have a couple locations throughout Texas, but this one is very cool because it’s a trailer! Haha this session was so full of amazing locations, Austin is such a cool town. I can’t wait to go back and just hang out.

We hung out on the back of the Hey Cupcake mobile for some more sweet photos!

Mmmm cupcakes…gosh this was a mouthwatering session!

Lyzette threatened…I mean warned George that she was going to put the cupcake in his face. She warned him from the beginning, so he should have seen it coming. But from his expression, I think he wasn’t ready!

So back to the fabulous, in their own right, Natalie and Patrick. They chose the Scottsdale Civic Plaza as their engagement session location, which I love. Because of the awesome LOVE statue there.

I love the awesome colors and textures at the Scottsdale Civic Plaza. It’s such a fresh and colorful place!

A little about Natalie that I think is awesome…she goes to graduate school at ASU studying something that is way beyond my comprehension! Basically, she’s waaay smarter than me…and she’s gorgeous to boot! Who said you can’t have both brains and beauty? I think Patrick couldn’t agree more!

Although I think Patrick has something special going on for him too….how am I so lucky to have the best and most gorgeous couple’s in Arizona?

Pam had the assistance of the amazingly talented Heather Wilson to do her makeup that day. She has the most stunning eyes, so Heather had a great palette to work with!

Woohoo! I was selected! So look out WPPI 2010! For all clients, I will be out of the office March 7 to 10. So I will get back to you all when I’m back home on the 11th. I am going to be wearing this awesome shirt on Monday, the first day of the conference! I’m sooo excited to meet fellow wedding photographers from across the country, what a great way to meet them by helping them win awesome prizes!

I’m so excited to be a member of WPPI, it’s inspiring to be part of an amazing photography conference! I haven’t been a member for long, but I love it so far and my clients seem to be loving it as well!
